Assessing the risk of a trademark filing, in five steps.

The firm has developed an internal tool that queries the EUIPO, INPI and WIPO databases, detects visual, phonetic and textual similarities, and produces a scored report alongside the firm's legal analysis. Visual walkthrough of the five steps below.

The five steps, in motion.

Non-interactive visual preview. The full report is delivered case by case, on request.

  1. 01 / 05

    Trademark input

The candidate trademark is entered with its typography, logo and Nice classes. The system maps the Nice classes and suggests the relevant geographic scope, subject to the lawyer's validation.

  2. 02 / 05

    Orthographic variants

Automated generation of variants — letter substitutions, inversions, common prefixes and suffixes — and database queries (EUIPO / INPI / WIPO) for each.

  3. 03 / 05

    Visual comparison

Algorithmic analysis of nearby figurative trademarks — glyph similarity, palette overlap, graphic structure.

  4. 04 / 05

    Phonetic comparison & Nice classes

Phonetic similarity detection (French, English), filtering by Nice classes, highlighting potential overlaps in goods and services.

  5. 05 / 05

    Scoring & report

Compilation of a structured report — synthesis, table of nearby marks, risk scoring per dimension, flagged issues. Report provided alongside the firm's legal analysis before the filing decision.
